What are the success rates at Cito Polyclinic?
Each method of infertility treatment offers a different chance of success. The age of the patient is a decisive factor, because from the age of 35, the reproductive potential of female eggs decreases. We bring you the results for the most frequently used methods in the Cito polyclinic.
AIH (Insemination) – success rate 23%
Insemination is the least complex treatment and is usually performed up to the age of 40. This treatment offers optimal rates up to the third or fourth attempt, with the normal spermiogram.
In vitro fertilization (IVF) – success rate up to 62%
Egg cells lose their quality over time, which is part of an irreversible process that tends to intensify after the age of 35.
How the success rate is calculated
These data refer to a positive result of the hormone Beta hCG, measured from the 14th day after the embryo transfer. The results shown are for the period 01.01.2022-31.12.2022
